At the IFA electronics show in Berlin over the weekend, TCL introduced what it described as the largest-ever Mini LED TV,  as well as a ninety-eight-inch QLED TV, and other new products. 

TCL also debuted a 136-inch 4K cinema wall, in addition to new gaming monitors and appliances. 

The flagship Mini LED TV is the EISA Premium Mini LED TV C835.

We look forward to welcoming visitors at our incredible exhibition booth,” Shaoyong Zhang, CEO of TCL Electronics, said in the release. “Under our theme #TCLInspireGreatness we will demonstrate how our products and services can help people live, work, and play better each and every day.”

Also, last week TCL updated its 6-Series of Roku TVs, now with an improved Refresh Rate of 144Hz and Game Studio Pro.

The 6-Series has been our most highly-lauded model for delivering advanced features that TVs costing two or three times more would have and our new 2022 version is no different—innovative technology at incomparable value, thanks to the many advantages of being a vertically integrated company,” Chris Hamdorf, Senior Vice President, TCL, said in the release. 

“With consumers looking to elevate their movie-watching, sports-viewing and video gaming experiences, picture quality is becoming even more important. So, TCL is especially motivated to make larger screens and our biggest model is a 98 QLED TV starting at under $8,000, honoring TCL’s commitment to deliver powerful picture performance and cinematic immersion at an accessible price point and further strengthen the brand’s North American leadership.”

The Verge described the new 6-Series as having “serious gaming chops.” 

“For the 2022 6-Series Roku TV, TCL is putting a big emphasis on gaming capabilities,” the site said. “The prior Roku model topped out at 1440p at 120Hz, but now — as you’d hope so far into the PS5 and Xbox Series X lifecycle — the 6-Series can do full 4K-resolution gaming at 120Hz. PC gamers can achieve an even higher peak variable refresh rate of 144Hz. Other TV makers like Samsung have also adopted 144Hz; Vizio has even hit 240Hz at 1080p resolution. These companies are doing their best to appeal to console and PC gamers alike, but I’m just glad TCL is offering true 4K resolution at those higher refresh rates this time around.”
