The entire world order is collapsing, the United States is an economic basket case, and the American people are more divided at any other time since the Civil War. 

Had this situation existed under the much-maligned former President Donald J. Trump, the media coverage over these last three awful years would have centered on stories about how insane Trump is, how unfit for office he is, and the Left would be doing everything in its power to impeach him. 

But since these catastrophic failures are occurring under (non) leadership of Joe Biden, the media spends its time reporting on Biden’s favorite ice cream flavor and attacking the House Republicans for daring to investigate the forty-sixth president for the allegedly criminal actions of his son, Hunter. We’re at banana republic-level politics here. 

It’s one thing to have a favorable media environment, as most Democratic Party presidents have enjoyed since FDR. It’s an entirely different matter to have such a sycophantic media that the president himself starts to buy the hype and lies about his presidency. 

Bidenomics Doesn't Work. Don't Tell Joe Biden

For example, despite all evidence to the contrary, the Biden Campaign insists on forcing the purported success of “Bidenomics” down the throats of voters as we enter a contentious, tight presidential election cycle. 

No one outside of the most Left-wing enclaves believes that Bidenomics is anything other than a disaster for the country. Yet, the Biden Campaign persists in pushing the line that the economy has never been better. 

Meanwhile, all but the most rank partisans can see that the entire world order is in complete disarray—and has been since Joe Biden was sworn in as president. This is in stark contrast to the way that things were going globally under Donald Trump’s presidency. 

More importantly, it is in direct opposition to how Biden promised us events would unfold, if he were elected in 2020. Biden and his people assured uneasy voters in 2020 that he and his team would become the “adults in the room” who would return to normalcy at home and order abroad.

As it happens, what Biden promised and what he delivered were lightyears apart. 

That also is a bizarre turn, considering that Biden’s predecessor was the ultimate salesman who came from a field—real estate—notorious for overselling their product and underperforming. In this case, though, Biden failed to deliver. 

Not a Serious (or Sane) Party

At any other moment in history, one cannot help but to muse how long Biden would have lasted as a serious candidate for the Democratic Party. 

It is hard to believe that the Democrats of yesteryear, who put forward serious candidates, like FDR or Harry Truman or JFK—or even the pragmatic progressive, Bill Clinton—would be sanguine with letting the abject failure that is Joe Biden run again.

Even Jimmy Carter, the Democratic Party leader who is most akin to Biden, struggled in his bid to become the Democratic Party’s nominee in 1980 (he was challenged by then-Sen. Ted Kennedy for the DNC nomination). 

What’s more, few Democrats believed in Carter’s bid. They went along out of fealty to the party. Unlike today, where Democrats appear to have completely drunk the Kool Aid about Biden being a successful president.

Joe Biden is not qualified to be president. If the Democrats were a serious party, they’d immediately push him out. He’s an octogenarian who clearly has age-related cognitive decline. 

More than that, his track record as president is terrible. 

What sane party would want this guy to be their nominee?
