Julia Bowie
Julia Bowie is an intern at the Project 2049 Institute. She received her B.A. in International Studies from Kenyon College in 2012, where she concentrated in Chinese Studies and Development. After graduating, Julia spent two years teaching English in China, at an elementary school in Shenzhen, Guangdong, and at Yulin University, in Shaanxi. From 2014 to 2015, she attended the Hopkins Nanjing Center where she received a certificate in Chinese American Studies. At the Hopkins Nanjing Center her primary research focused on Chinese foreign policy and Chinese law. Prior to joining the Project 2049 Institute, she worked as a research intern at the National Defense University’s Institute for National Strategic Studies. She speaks English, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
