The NBA playoffs and the MLB season might be on hold, but that doesn’t mean you can’t spice up your living room with a new TV set in preparation for when pro sports do start up again.

And this week, ahead of Father’s Day, is indeed the perfect time to splurge on one for yourself or your dad. It’s not surprising to see some great deals already being offered right now, and to save you the hassle of searching for them, here are five awesome budget-friendly options to consider.

First up is the 75-inch TCL 4 Series 4K TV, now retailing for $700, a hundred bucks off the regular price. TCL’s Roku TVs are already well-known for their affordability, while still giving you a pretty decent panel. The Roku platform is arguably the best out there, and you’ll be getting HDR support and great responsiveness for all your gaming needs.

In at No. 2 is the 65-inch Samsung 7 Series 4K TV, now selling for $530. It won’t have the wow factor of the company’s highly regarded QLED offerings, but this set still packs a punch without emptying out your bank account. The VA-LCD panel provides above average picture quality with deep blacks, accurate colors and solid native contrast. It also supports HDR content and comes with three HDMI 2.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports.

Sticking with another Samsung offering, be sure to take a long hard look at the 43-inch 7-Series 4K TV, which is now only $279. Featuring an amazing near-bezel-less design, it comes with HDR support and 120Hz refresh rate. The voice control support will also come in handy when you just can’t get off that couch. Compared to the 6-Series entry-level model, this set boasts improved processing and richer color contrast.

Next up is Best Buy’s Insignia 50-inch Fire TV Edition, now going for only $279. This really is a solid smart TV, and while the picture quality won’t necessarily blow you away, it is more than passable for everyday TV watching. There is a mic built into the remote control, and with Alexa handling all communication between you and the TV, it’s like having an Echo without actually paying for one. And it is fully capable of giving you access to your favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu and HBO, as well as obviously Amazon Prime Video.

Finally, if you can scrape together $300, strongly consider the 49-inch LG UM6900 4K TV. Although it won’t deliver the mind-bending color and details of the ultra-expensive OLED panels, this set still works great for general movies, TV shows and games. This model supports HDR, and the advanced color mapping and color-enhancing technology make sure that colors are always accurate and remain vibrant.
